Welcome to Strewth!, a humorous adventure comic with new pages every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The idea behind Strewth! is simple: I set out to create the cartoon that would have been my favorite had it existed when I was a kid. This is a callback to the “funny animal comics” of the past, to Walt Disney and Walt Kelly and Harvey Comics. The story is just getting underway, so I can’t describe the plot in much detail quite yet. Basically, Strewth! is the story of an unlikely trio of friends from a small town who get swept up into a tempest of adventure and intrigue when they… well, you’ll just have to keep reading. The Characters

Jonathan

Jonathan is a timid fox who will go through a great deal of trouble just to avoid any trouble. He worries too much, thinks too much, and plans too much. All he wants is to nap under a tree in peace.

Conrad

Conrad is a fine specimen of the genus Giant Cartoon Bird. He’s not the brightest bulb on the string, but what he lacks in smarts he makes up for in enthusiasm. If Jonathan is too timid, Conrad is too bold. He’ll charge into any situation without much thought for the consequences.

Boothe

Boothe is a small frog with a huge chip on his shoulder. While Jonathan and Conrad have been friends for years, it’s unclear if Boothe has any friends. And as the three find themselves in increasingly dark situations, there is some question as to where Boothe’s loyalties lie…

Old Man Tanner

Mr. Tanner is a gun-happy old woodchuck who lives in a shack in the woods. Probably best to just leave him be.
