Now I feel bad. Problem is, I don’t have anything to say for most of your comics because they are rooted too much in American pop culture and therefore not easy to follow for me.

By the way, if you were Tim Buckley, you would now be berated for being an arrogant jerk who doesn’t accept criticism and is an asshole towards his fans.

I think this is less of a Randy-Newman-sings-about-what-he-sees joke than a Randy-Newman-is-the-last-person-in-the-world-who-should-be-writing-a-Disney-musical joke.

I almost didn’t make this strip, because of the over-saturation of Newman jokes. But the movie really made me mad. Also, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to draw these colorful characters. I’ve always been a fan of Disney animation.

When you do see it, will it be in German, or in English with subtitles? Disney movies usually have language dubs, right? Maybe they’ll improve the lyrics.

It’s really kinda weird. The story is clumsy and the (aforementioned) songs are not great. But it sure looks nice!
